This guide will help you farm the legendary weapon:
Shadowmourne
First of all, we will port to the Stairs of Destiny.
[Might and Magic] > Mission Area > The stair of Destiny.
Find the NPC called "Shadow Guardian".
Accept his quest so we know what materials we have to farm in order to upgrade Shadowmourne.
The next step will be to go to the WOTLK Raid "Icecrown Citadel".
[Might and Magic] > Raid Instance > Wrath of the lich king Raid > Icecrown Citadel > Light's Hammer
We will now have to find the NPC called "Highlord Darion Mograine".
Go straight ahead and turn left, he will stand there waiting for you.
Accepting his quest will reward us with Shadowmourne!
Now that we have acquired the original Shadowmourne it's time to farm the Upgrade Material.
[Might and Magic] > Raid Instance > Wrath of the lich king Raid > Icecrown Citadel > Light's Hammer
Turn around and go through the Portal, it will lead you to the front of ICC.
Go all the way out and down the stairs, you will be greeted by 2 different types of monsters.

Shadow Puppet Minion drops [Shadow Conduction].
Shadow Puppet drops [Shadow Soul].
Start farming 2 [Shadow Soul] and 50 [Shadow Conduction] which will be needed for the first Upgrade.
After we are done farming those materials we will head to the next Location.
[Might and Magic] > Worldmap > Northrend > Dragonblight
Mount up and fly north to "The Crystal Vice".

Frost Guard drops [Frost Fragments].
Farm 10 [Frost Fragments] and we will have all Materials required to upgrade Shadowmourne for the first time.
Head back to Mission Area.
[Might and Magic] > Mission Area > The stair of Destiny
Go to the NPC called "Shadow Guardian" and finish the quest we accepted at the beginning of our Journey.
Congratulations, champion! You've acquired @Shadowmourne.

- 1440 [Frost Fragments]
